Baby dreams usually have more than one meaning depending on the context of the dream. Babies could be a metaphor for our nurturing side, or maybe a lack thereof. Some women who desire having a baby can alternatively have dreams of holding a baby as they may unconsciously want one. Babies tend to be very positive dream symbols suggest a “new birth” “new beginning” in life.

If you are nursing a baby, it denotes sorrow and misfortune. If you see a baby who is sick, it means that somebody among your relatives will die.

On the one hand, dreaming about a baby may indicate your non-socialization, i.e. your pure, natural and true nature or your fragile heart and desire of being loved. For new parents, dreaming about a baby in suffocation or danger usually shows the great concern to the baby. Generally speaking, dreaming about your baby's birth suggests you are going to get pregnant, make a fortune or get generous income. In psychology, the dream about baby is one of the common dreams, especially in the dreams of women. Generally, the baby in the dream symbolizes "plan" and "hope". In the interpretation of the dream, your feeling about the baby should be taken into consideration. If the dream makes you happy, it represents the fulfilling of hope and the coming of happiness, such as dreaming about holding a baby, baby laughing and baby teething; if the dream makes you unhappy or annoying, it represents the extinction of hope or the loss of some important things, such as dreaming about crying or dead baby. Dreaming about holding a baby suggests you will be rewarded and get something important to you in the near future. Dreaming about a dead baby is ominous because it indicates the extinction of your plan and hope, and you have lost or will lose something very important to you. Dreaming about baby talking may indicate you will get into trouble and you will encounter the villain making troubles. Dreaming about baby teething symbolizes the smooth implementation of the plan and you will be helped by someone and have good news in the near future. Dreaming about a pretty and cute baby indicates you will have good luck. Dreaming about an ugly baby symbolizes you may be cheated by someone you trust. Dreaming about a new-born baby walking upright indicates your job performance will be praised.

Dreaming of an unfamiliar child or caring for a unknown baby portrays growth or the emergence of a new side of you. You may have a sense of feeling responsible for this unknown child as a representation of the need to care for and nurture this new aspect of you.
