These dreams might come as a metaphor reflecting a connection, bond or commitment you have in life. Depending the dream rings, cakes, veils and who is getting married can change to meaning. There could be a possibility you have unconscious desires being played out in your dream. A need for love, partnership or a connection with someone. Common dreams occur when you are getting married to the wrong person reflects a wrong union of two factors in your life.

This symbol means you will attend a funeral in the future. If you dream that you are the one who is marrying and you are single, it means you will never wed in real life. Dreams of marrying a sick person mean that person will die.

Often you will dream of attending a wedding that is not your own and have the sense of not remembering who the people were that were getting married. This portrays adopting behaviors that are not necessarily right for your. In this case, the other symbolism becomes important in recognizing how you may be going through the 'ritual' or routine of public acceptance. If the wedding is your own, it becomes the classic representation of the merging or union of different sides of yourself, usually adopting the Anima or Animus. If one sees himself as a bridegroom on his wedding night, accompanied with musicians and dancers in the dream, it means that he may die in that place. If one sees himself having marital intercourse with his bride, but could not see her or recognize her, nor is she named to him in the dream, it also means his death. If one sees and recognizes his bride, or if she is named as his bride in the dream, then it means acquiring wealth.
