Scissors are symbolic in our dreams when we are cutting or removing things out of our lives. Scissors are sharp and snippy that could be a metaphor for possessing these unknown qualities within. Remembering what you are cutting will be symbolic to what you need to cut away.

The scissors association with the hand can suggests letting go or cutting away the unnecessary so that you can take what you need from life. Cutting tools are used to cut through restraints or to shape something new from the old. Scissors combine the motion of grasping and letting go with the idea of cutting to symbolize 'cutting away' the things that bind you.
