Necklace

A necklace shows your qualities; richness of feelings; feelings connected with the giver; social status. It brings your awareness to hierarchy, authority, charm and self admiration in your life. Depending on who gave it to you, where you were wearing it are clues to relationship and status. If it was a pearl necklace brings wisdom from the emotional unconsciousness part of the dreamer. However, its nature being around the neck might have a negative connotation for being tied to the neck or self inflated ego.

A symbol of something that is close to your heart, Deut. 33:12. If it has a picture of someone in it the necklace symbolizes your love for that person. A necklace is also a symbol of wise instruction and teaching from your parents, Prov. 1:8

To dream of being given or wearing a special necklace with stones can symbolize how you are trusting in the direction of your Higher Self where the necklace becomes a symbol of your commitment to this connection. Since it covers the heart, it is a symbol of self acceptance and the discovery/commitment to inner beauty. In some cases, since it is worn around the neck, the necklace can have associations with being yoked by responsibilities.
