Digging

If you are digging in your dream it means that you are diligently looking to find something that you want to use to solve your problems. Whether it is truth or trying to find the solution to something, digging symbolizes that you are going to work hard for the answer. If you find something whether it be treasure or just an object it means that you would soon find an answer. Going deep below the surface you may want to get to the bottom of things as well as the unconscious. However if your hole is filled with water, it means that your efforts would never be fruitful no matter your efforts.

In daily life, you dig to uncover the roots of something. You may dig for the truth or dig to bury an aspect, which you'd rather not face. This symbol goes deeper than just searching for something. It suggests that you know where it is and need only discover the roots to bring it back to life. On the other hand, digging can suggest the need to remove it completely, by destroying its roots. Digging the earth in a dream means profits equal to the measure of earth one piles-up if the dirt is dry. However, if the ground is wet in the dream, it means deceiving someone else in a business venture, whereby, he gains nothing from it but headache and exhaustion equal to the amount of earth he piles-up. If one sees himself outside a hole, looking at it in a dream, it means an argument with her which will end in reconciliation. If a sick person sees himself coming out of a hole in a dream, it means recovering from illness or being set free from prison. If one sees himself digging the earth in a dream, it also means muddling in falsehood to earn nothing but wrath.
